UPSC Final Result 2021: Shruti Sharma, who has secured the first position in the Civil Services Examination of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), believes that the number of hours studied for preparation does not matter. It is important that how much is learned during studies.

Shruti Sharma said in a conversation with Hindustan that she wants to give the credit of her success to every person who supported her. First told result to mother and grandmother at home: Shruti tells that when the result came, there was grandmother and mother at home. He was informed about it first. Told father about his success over phone. His father Sunil Dutt Sharma is an engineer. Hearing the result, all the family members became emotional.

She was preparing for the Civil Services Examination for the last four years.

Shruti’s family is originally from Basta town of Bijnor. He lives in East of Kailash, Delhi. Shruti has done her Bachelors in History Honors from St Stephen’s College, DU and Masters in History from JNU.

She was studying from the residential coaching of Jamia Millia Islamia for the last two years. She said that she will accept the responsibility given to her, but her personal interest is education and women empowerment. He has kept the UP cadre in his first priority. He did not tell any single mantra of his success, but said that it is necessary to make a strategy for the preparation of the exam. Make notes of what you read, revise and then memorize the topic completely.

Success in second attempt

Shruti told that this was her second attempt. Due to some language related problem in the first attempt, he had to appear in the main examination in Hindi. Last time she missed a number. But, forgetting it, she kept on moving towards the goal.

Buoyed by her success, Shruti Sharma said that she was sure of clearing the UPSC exam, but was not expecting a first rank. He couldn’t believe he was in the first place.

15 men and 10 women in the top 25 places

In the results of the Civil Services Examination, 15 men and 10 women are in the top 25 places. The successful candidates include 244 from general category, 73 from economically weaker section, 203 from other backward class, 105 from scheduled caste and 60 from scheduled tribe. The Civil Services Examination is held every year in three phases, under which Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS) officers are selected.
